Our Journey

From Seed to Sustainability

What started as a vision in 2016 has flourished into a pioneering force in sustainable agriculture and conscious dining. As co-founders and visionaries, we planted the first seeds of Bali Grown in Pejeng, Bali, where we introduced aquaponic farming. By 2018, our dedication bore fruit, establishing Bali’s first home supplier of aquaponic, hydroponic, and fully pesticide-free produce to the Ubud community.

 

Through strategic partnerships with Island Organics and Bali Direct, and with the expansion of two farms, we have become leaders in Bali’s sustainable agriculture movement, setting new standards in quality, freshness, and environmental stewardship. Our main farm, Citra Bali Organik in Mas, Ubud, is the heart of our mission—growing heirloom tomatoes, baby kyuri, premium leafy greens, baby spinach, microgreens, and specialty chilies, all harvested daily for peak flavor and nutrition.

We aren’t just farmers—we are transforming the way people experience food. With same-day harvest and delivery, we ensure that our produce reaches health-conscious consumers, top chefs, and innovative businesses at its absolute best. But our mission doesn’t stop at farming. We empower others to embrace sustainable living through the design and installation of aquaponic and hydroponic systems and by offering resources that inspire and educate.

 

Our passion for conscious food gave birth to Thrive by Bali Grown, our farm-to-plate artisanal food kiosk. Located in Mas, Ubud, Thrive is a celebration of fresh, organic, and truly locally grown ingredients crafted into vibrant salads, nourishing bowls, wholesome wraps, and revitalizing pure juices. Every meal at Thrive reflects our commitment to sustainability and well-being, connecting people to the land and to each other through food that nourishes both body and soul.
